We see something very strange today - Scenery!.
The smoke has finally thinned enough to see through
Just before we get to the Columbia river it opens out into a big view.
Then lots of windmills
before the big hill down to the river.
Finally we end up at the lovely town of La Grande, Oregon.
Some very helpful folks in the visitor center send us on the great walking tour around town, and point us towards a very campsite for tonight.
How nice is the campsite? Well if the big boys are towing helicoptors - you know its nice.
We are at the La Grande Hot Springs RV resort and yes it has unlimited hot water so you can take a great long hot shower.
